❓ FAQ (Especially for ADHD Brains)
Can we talk about multiple topics in one session?
We can touch on multiple areas, but focus is where the magic happens. If you spend 30 mins on career and 30 mins on dating, you get surface-level help on both. If you spend 60 mins deep on career, you get breakthrough insights. My recommendation: pick ONE area per session, make real progress, then we can add another area in future sessions.
What if I get distracted or off-topic during the session?
That's literally what I'm here for. If you start wandering, I gently redirect you back to your focus area. That's the coaching. ADHD brains jump around—external structure keeps us on track. That's why the written feedback + progress doc matters so much. They become your external anchor.
How do I remember what we discussed between sessions?
You don't have to remember. I send you a summary email with the key points, action items, and transcript excerpts. It's all written down. You just refer back to the email. (And for monthly clients, the progress doc grows with each session.)
I want to work on multiple areas. How do I do that?
Start with one. Pick your biggest pain point, commit to 4-8 sessions, make real progress, then add a second area. Juggling too many areas at once = no progress anywhere. The goal is wins, not just activity.
What if I pick the wrong focus area?
It's not possible to pick "wrong." After 1-2 sessions, we'll both know if the area is the right fit. If not, we pivot. Easy. The first session is basically us getting to know each other and figuring out the best path forward.
Can you help with my specific situation? [insert specific challenge]
Probably. The 8 areas I listed aren't exhaustive—they're just the most common. If your situation doesn't fit neatly into one area, that's fine. Let's talk about it. Schedule a consultation and tell me what's going on. I'll let you know if I can help.
Do you have experience with [specific mental health condition/situation]?
Bipolar, ADHD, and Autism: Yes. I have lived experience and deep knowledge. Other conditions or niche situations: I may not specialize, but I have resources and can point you to experts. Always better to work with someone experienced. I'll tell you directly if something is outside my wheelhouse.
What if I miss a session or need to reschedule?
Life happens. Reschedule it (24+ hour notice if possible). But know that momentum matters—especially for ADHD brains. Missing sessions can slow your progress. If you're struggling to stay consistent, let's talk about it. Sometimes we need to adjust the schedule or add accountability.
